Editor's take

Best for

Vet founders already past $1M ARR who need peer accountability and CEO-level sparring at that revenue tier.

Not worth it if

You are pre-revenue or under $1M. This is peer coaching, not startup school. Wrong altitude.

What to prepare before applying

Trailing 12-month revenue documentation, articulation of the top three problems you are stuck on, and 4-8 hours per month reserved for the group.

Context

Free program (participants cover fly-in travel and lodging only). Presented by JPMorgan Chase. Companion to Military Founders Lab (earlier stage) and Veteran EDGE (broader growth event). Previous fly-in speakers include Larry Johnson (former CEO Fogo De Chao), Chris Cassidy (former Navy SEAL/astronaut, CEO of National Medal of Honor Museum), Kelly Perdew (Moonshots Capital).

What we ask reviewers
  • Time spent: hours in-person, hours virtual, duration in weeks, required attendance.
  • Actual benefit: cash grants received, follow-on capital raised, cost coverage, equity taken.
  • Selectivity: cohort size, acceptance rate, percent veteran or military.
  • Best parts and worst parts: up to four each, specific facts, no marketing language.
  • Truth check: was the program marketing accurate? What did they oversell or leave out?
