Vet founders who need real accounting software. QuickBooks Online is the industry default for small business.
You are still bootstrapping with spreadsheets and do not have real transactions yet. Wave (free) may fit better until you scale.
Promo pricing typically reverts to full price after 3-6 months. Locked-in annual pricing is usually a better deal than monthly.
Intuit does not maintain a permanent veteran discount for QuickBooks. Standard promo pricing (typically 50% off first 3 months) is available to all signups. If you go through an accelerator with an Intuit partnership (some IVMF and PenFed VEP cohorts have this), ask about partner pricing. Otherwise, stack standard promos with annual billing for best rate.
