Editor's take
Service-disabled veterans in New York pursuing state contracting work. This is the credential that gets you counted toward the state's SDVOB goal.
You are not selling to New York State agencies. This is a contracting certification with no retail or vendor discount attached.
Separate from federal SDVOSB certification. Holding one does not give you the other. If you want both federal and New York State work, you certify twice.
This entry previously described a New York veteran-owned business formation filing fee reduction. No such benefit could be located at the NY Department of State across multiple verification passes, so the claim was removed rather than carried unverified. What does exist is state SDVOB certification, which is what this entry now covers.
